Extremely rare vintage 8x10-inch black and white glossy portrait, signed and inscribed in ballpoint pen in the 1950s.  In good condition, with scattered handling dings.  The lovely model and busy television actress, who popped up in supporting roles on episodes of "Highway Patrol" (1959), "Perry Mason "(1959), "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" (1959), "77 Sunset Strip" (1961), "Outlaws" (1961-1962), and "General Hospital" (1975-1978), was the secret lovechild of Clark Gable and Loretta Young, who had a long-hidden affair while Gable was married to Maria Franklin Gable.  The identity of her parents was so clandestine that Lewis was forced to undergo surgery at the age of 7, to reduce her resemblance to her celebrated father.  It was at a Gone with the Wind convention in 2001 that the public finally learned that, while the beloved classic was being filmed, he was making secretive visits to a 3-year-old daughter nobody but Young knew about.  This is the only signed photo of the tragic actress we've ever encountered.
