Uncommon vintage 5x7-inch sepia-tone portrait, boldly signed in fountain pen in the 1940s.  In very fine condition.  The comic character actress of the stage and screen played nosy busybody types in films like A Yank at Eton (1942), Random Harvest (1942), Stand by for Action (1942), Andy Hardy's Blonde Trouble (1944), Maisie Goes to Reno (1944), and Keep Your Powder Dry (1945).  She abandoned Hollywood at the age of 42.
