Exceptionally rare handwritten, signed note in black fountain pen on a roughly 6x8-inch light grey sheet, sent to inveterate collector at the very onset of the actress' career, in the early 1950s. In good condition. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the autographed piece is not included. Gorgeous, leggy model and actress Jackie Loughery won the first Miss U.S.A. pageant in 1952 and went on to play supporting roles in films like Abbott and Costello Go to Mars (1953), The Veils of Bagdad (1953), Son of Sinbad (1955), The Naked Street (1955), Pardners (1956), and Eighteen and Anxious (1957).
