Cat. #0016426: KATHLEEN LOCKHART

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Rare vintage signature in blue ballpoint pen on a 3.25 x 5.25-inch portion of a pale green autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s.  In good condition, with slight trimming to the left and bottom edges, and just a hint of toning.  The lovable English character actress, who was typically cast as impoverished little old ladies, twittering society types and bighearted relatives, was the wife of Gene Lockhart and mother of June Lockhart.  Her long list of memorable credits includes Mister Cinderella (1936), Something to Sing About (1937), Blondie (1938), A Christmas Carol (1938), Lady in the Lake (1947), and The Glenn Miller Story (1954).
