Quite uncommon vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch pale pink autograph album page, acquired in-person early in his career, in the late 1940s. In good condition and nice for matting with a favorite photograph. Richard Long was noteworthy in films like The Stranger (1946), The Dark Mirror (1946), The Life of Riley (1949), Ma and Pa Kettle (1949), Cult of the Cobra (1955), and horror's House on Haunted Hill (1959), but is better remembered for his extensive T.V. work, which included starring roles on "Bourbon Street Bear" (1959-1960), "The Big Valley" (1965-1969) and "Nanny and the Professor" (1970-1971). He also appeared in two classic episodes of "The Twilight Zone" in 1962 and 1964. He had multiple heart attacks and died at age 47 and his autograph is quite elusive in any format.
