Highly scarce vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in 1933. In fine condition for its age, with the corners rounded due to prior framing, and some minor surface scrapes and chipping. Once a gorgeous darling of the Broadway stage, formidable Cecilia Loftus made only 12 forays into film, one of which was her old age tour-de-force portrayal of Henrietta Winslow in the Bela Lugosi classic The Black Cat (1941).
