Highly scarce vintage inscribed fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in-person by inveterate collector Emily Barnes in the 1970s and decorated with a small magazine image. In good condition for its age. Unforgettable little-old-lady character actress Judith Lowry played a mixed bag of cranky, no-nonsense grandmothers, aunts, neighbors, nuns, and society matrons in films like The Miracle Worker (1962), The Trouble with Angels (1966), Valley of the Dolls (1967), The Night They Raided Minsky's (1968), Sweet Charity (1969), Cold Turkey (1971), and Superdad (1973). Her extensive television work included one starring role, as Mother Dexter on T.V.'s "Phyllis" (1975-1977), a role she played until her death at age 86. This is just the third example of her autograph we've ever encountered.
