Extremely rare vintage fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in-person in 1942.  In good condition for its age, with stains to all four corners from prior mounting with photo corners in an album, and suitable for matting.  Fantastic African-American jazz alto saxophonist and Swing Era bandleader Jimmie Lunceford died of cardiac arrest under mysterious circumstances at the age of 45.  Some believe he was poisoned by a restaurant owner who was displeased at serving a wealthy Black man.
