Cat. #0016614252: PAUL LYNDE

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Scarce vintage signature in black felt-tip pen on a 5x8-inch orange insert from the playbill for a charity event at which he appeared, given in-person, above a blue ballpoint pen signature of Peter Marshall, in the 1970s. In fine condition, with a few minor surface crinkles. With his distinct drawl, stinging barbs and sexually-charged innuendos, comic actor and gay icon Paul Lynde stole every scene in films like Bye Bye Birdie (1963), Send Me No Flowers (1964), Beach Blanket Bingo (1965), and Rabbit Test (1978). His extensive work on television included classic episodes of "The Munsters" (1964-1965), "Bewitched" (1965-1971) and "I Dream of Jeannie" (1966-1968), as well as "The Paul Lynde Show" (1972-1973) and a long run on the game show "The Hollywood Squares" (1966-1979). He died tragically of a drug abuse-related heart attack at the age of 55 and his autograph is rather elusive in any format.
