Cat. #0016614262: DIANA LYNN

Scarce vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch pink card, acquired in-person by indefatigable autograph hound John Virzi, probably in the 1960s, and decorated with a small Players Directory image. In good condition, with some gentle soiling to the bottom area, well away from the writing itself. Charming Diana Lynn began her career as a prodigiously talented young pianist, and, after shifting into acting at the age of 13, proved memorable in films like The Major and the Minor (1942), The Miracle of Morgan's Creek (1944), And the Angels Sing (1944), My Friend Irma (1949), and Bedtime for Bonzo (1951). She died tragically of a stroke at the age of 45 and her autograph is elusive in any format.
