Scarce vintage inscribed signature in heavy pencil on an irregularly trimmed 3x5-inch portion of a tan slip of paper, acquired in-person in the 1940s and affixed to a 4x6-inch yellow autograph album page. In good condition for its age. Character actor Emmett Lynn was one of the more memorable old, grubby prospector sidekicks who supplied the comic relief in countless Republic Westerns through the forties and early fifties. Elsewhere, his nearly 500 film roles-- only 150 or so of which were credited!-- included In Old California (1942), horror's Bluebeard (1944), the Three Stooges' The Yokes on Me (1944), The Red Badge of Courage (1951), The Robe (1953), The Night of the Hunter (1955), A Man Called Peter (1955), and The Ten Commandments (1956). In his later years, he was on numerous episodes of T.V.'s "The Lone Ranger" (1949-1955).
