Uncommon vintage 8x10-inch black and white publicity portrait as Sheriff Jim Trask in the western flick Showdown at Abilene (1956), boldly signed and inscribed in green fountain pen in 1980.  In good condition, with one or two negligible handling dings.  The celebrated stuntman doubled for Errol Flynn, John Wayne, Gregory Peck, and Randolph Scott, and also appeared as a mixed bag of heroes and heavies in over 100 B-level oaters and action flicks.  He made a handful of contributions to the sci-fi and fantasy genres, memorable in I've Lived Before (1956), The Land Unknown (1957), three episodes of T.V.'s "Batman" (1966), and The Love Bug (1968), and as the screen's oldest Tarzan in two feature films of the 1960s.
