Highly rare 3.25 x 5.5-inch black and white German postcard portrait, boldly signed with her name alone in black fountain pen in the 1950s. In good condition for its age. Tempestuous Italian leading actress Anna Magnani earned an Oscar for The Rose Tattoo (1955) and was nominated a second time, for Wild Is the Wind (1957). Not long after an unforgettable turn in the hilarious The Secret of Santa Vittoria (1962), she died of pancreatic cancer, aged only 62. Not much of a signer during her lifetime, her autograph is elusive in any format.
