Rare and terrific vintage 8×10 -inch matte-finish sepia-tone portrait by Witzel, signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in October of 1921. In fine condition, with light age-related soiling. Typically dressed in a ridiculous hairpiece and walrus mustache, always funny Hank Mann was memorable as one of the silent screen's Keystone Kops, and alongside Charlie Chaplin in City Lights (1931), Modern Times (1936) and The Great Dictator (1940). He was later a make-up artist for films.
