Scarce vintage 8x10-inch black and white restrike still from Dracula (1931), shown wooing Helen Chandler, neatly signed and inscribed in blue felt-tip pen in the 1980s. In good condition. David Manners, handsome, well-spoken leading man of the 1930s, portrayed Jonathan Harker in Dracula (1931), opposite Bela Lugosi; Franklyn Drew in Death Kiss (1932), also with Lugosi; Frank Whemple in The Mummy, with Boris Karloff; Peter Alison in The Black Cat (1934), alongside both Lugosi and Karloff; and the nephew of a crazed opium addict in Mystery of Edwin Drood (1935), with Claude Rains.
