Choice, uncommonly early 8x10-inch sepia-tone publicity portrait from around the time of 1935's The Dark Angel, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in the 1930s. In good condition for its ageHandsome leading man Fredric March is beloved of horror, sci-fi and fantasy buffs for his Oscar-nominated double role in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931). He further contributed to the genre with his roles as the weary Grim Reaper in Death Takes a Holiday (1934) and the bewildered husband of sorceress Veronica Lake in the horror-themed comedy I Married a Witch (1943).
