Highly uncommon vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 3.5 x 5.5-inch light grey autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1930s. In good condition, with a stray ink stain to the area below the writing. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the autograph is not included. English character actor of the stage and screen Arthur Margetson played well-bred aristocrats, military officers, physicians, and other men of authority in films like The Great Defender (1935), the horror flick Phantom Ship (1935) with Bela Lugosi, The Loves of Madame Dubarry (1936), Broken Blossoms (1936), Juggernaut (1936), A Clown Must Laugh (1936), Larceny Street (1937), Random Harvest (1942), and the Basil Rathbone favorite Sherlock Holmes Faces Death (1943).
