Scarce vintage 6.5 x 8.5-inch sepia-tone bust portrait, boldly signed in black fountain pen in the late 1920s.  In fine condition, with light silvering and possible trimming to the borders.  The tall, debonair English matinée idol was a regular collaborator with Alfred Hitchcock, appearing in East of Shanghai (1931), Secret Agent (1936) and The Girl Was Young (1937).
