Extremely uncommon vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black felt-tip marker in the 1970s. In good condition, with tape remnants to the white border, left by prior framing, and a few minor handling dings. Great character actor John Marley is best remembered for his portrayal of defiant, sexually perverse movie mogul Jack Woltz, who wakes up with the severed head of his beloved horse in his bed in The Godfather (1972). He was elsewhere noteworthy in Faces (1968), Love Story (1970) and The Glitter Dome (1984).
