RARE vintage 7x9-inch black and white portrait, looking lovely in her prime, boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen in the early 1940s. In good condition, with the borders trimmed away for framing purposes. Although beautiful Carol Marsh appeared in only ten films, they were almost all memorable ones, including Brighton Rock (1947), The Romantic Age (1949), Helter Skelter (1949), Alice in Wonderland (1950), and Scrooge (1951), the latter two being important contributions to the fantasy genre. She is remembered by horror fans for her starring role as Lucy in the Hammer horror classic Dracula (1958), opposite Christopher Lee. This is only the sixth example of her autograph we have encountered in over 35 years.
