Highly rare and completely one-of-a-kind vintage 5.75 x 12-inch one-page program for a harp recital given by Mildred Dilling students at the Spence School in Manhattan, New York, on June 2, 1934, clearly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen in-person at the program, with the writing running up against the edge of the paper, but fully present. There was almost certainly some connection between the mute Marx Brothers member, who was a harpist-- often to great comic effect-- and the performance; it is unclear if he performed there or had some association with the school, or a teacher or student. Some research is needed. In good condition, with two horizontal storage folds and a minor border tear to the lower right-hand edge.
