Highly rare vintage 10x8-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in the 1930s. In good condition for its age. Before his tragic death of a heart attack at the age of 44, menacing, tough-as-nails silent and early talkie actor LeRoy Mason played exotic types, nasty heavies and slime ball types in scores of B-level westerns, horror, fantasy, and war flicks, including The Avenging Shadow (1928), Revenge (1928), The Climax (1930), The Monkey's Paw (1933), King Kong (1933), Texas Terror (1935), The Call of the Wild (1935), Jungle Menace (1937), Ghost Valley Raiders (1940), Riders of the Purple Sage (1941), The Man Who Wouldn't Die (1942), Captain America (1944), The Tiger Woman (1944), The Phantom Rider (1946), Valley of the Zombies (1946), My Pal Trigger (1946), and The Black Widow (1947).  This is just the second example of his autograph we have ever encountered.
