Extremely rare vintage holiday card, showing an image of her with ornaments dangling from her breasts (not censored, as in the accompanying scan), boldly signed and inscribed for a friend in black ballpoint pen in the early 1980s. In good condition. Nobody could resist the charms of John Waters regular Edith Massey, with her bulldog kisser, fractured smile, birdlike voice, hilariously monotone delivery, and superb byplay with Divine! Among her 10 collaborations with Waters, her best roles were the Egg Lady in Pink Flamingos (1972), Aunt Ida Nelson in Female Trouble (1974), Queen Carlotta in Desperate Living (1977), and Cuddles Kovinsky in Polyester (1981). This is just the the fifth example of her autograph we have encountered in over 35 years.
