Scarce vintage handwritten and boldly signed check, dated 1970. In fine condition, with some bank cancellation marks, some grazing the autograph. Note that the image of the star shown here alongside the scan of the autograph is not included. Bald, big-eared, no-nonsense character actor John McGiver, who died far too young of a heart attack, is remembered for classic films like Love in the Afternoon (1957), Once Upon a Horse... (1958), Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961), Mr. Hobbs Takes  a Vacation (1962), The Manchurian Candidate (1962), and Mame (1974). He was also in two episodes of T.V.s "The Twilight Zone," entitled "The Bard" (1963) and "Sounds and Silences" (1964).
