Uncommon vintage blue ballpoint pen signature on a 3.25 x 4.5-inch portion of a light blue autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s and paired with a small computer-printed image of the star. In good condition and nice for matting. Gritty, steely-eyed character actor John McIntire played no-nonsense cops, worldly-wise politicians and merciless psychopaths in films like Black Bart (1948); Down to the Sea in Ships (1949); The Asphalt Jungle (1950); Saddle Tramp (1950); the Anthony Mann westerns Winchester 73 (1950), The Far Country (1955) and The Tin Star (1957); The World in His Arms (1952); and Alfred Hitchcock's horror classic Psycho (1960).  He also lent his voice to several Disney animated features, including The Rescuers (1977) and The Fox and the Hound (1981).
