Highly uncommon vintage inscribed signature in blue fountain pen on a 4 x 4.5-inch pale green autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s. In very good condition. Beautiful Maggie McNamara was lured from the stage and a modeling career by Otto Preminger, who cast her in The Moon Is Blue in 1953. She was nominated for an Oscar for her knockout performance in that highly controversial film and went on to appear in Three Coins in the Fountain (1954), Prince of Players (1955), The Cardinal (1963), and a classic episode of T.V.'s "The Twilight Zone" entitled "Ring-a-Ding Girl" (1963). In 1978, she committed suicide by overdose, aged only 48, and her autograph is elusive in any format. This is just the fourth example we've ever encountered.
