Very rare 6.5 x 8.5-inch black and white press still, shown peeling off her coat to reveal a slinky dress to Kenneth J. Warren and Roddy McMillan on British T.V.'s "Justin Thyme" (1964), boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen in-person for inveterate collector and photographer Peter Latter in the 1960s. Some surface curling from having been stored in a rubber band; otherwise, in good condition for its age. This is just the second autograph we've ever offered of alluring English-born leading actress Jane Merrow, a photo of whom is shown here alongside the press shot, but is not actually included with the signed item. She was a regular in horror flicks, including The Phantom of the Opera (1962), Island of the Burning Damned (1967), Hands of the Ripper (1971), The Hound of the Baskervilles (1972), and The Horror at 37,000 Feet (1973), and was elsewhere memorable in The Girl-Getters (1964), The Lion in Winter (1968) and Diagnosis: Murder (1975).
