Highly rare vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a 2.75 x 4.75-inch lined notebook leaf, acquired in-person by a busy New York City-based autograph hound following a 1952 appearance on T.V.'s "The Louis Armstrong Show." In good condition for its age. Great black jazz singer Velma Middleton, who is best remembered for her long association with Louis Armstrong's various bands, died tragically of a stroke at the age of 43 and her autograph is quite elusive in any format.
