Highly rare vintage inscribed brown fountain pen signature on a 2.5 x 5-inch pale pink autograph album page, acquired in-person by inveterate collectors Irene and Rose Gellar in the 1940s, and decorated with a small Players Directory image. In good condition and suitable for matting. Ida Moore, elderly, adorably eccentric character actress of the silent era through Golden Age, played Mrs. Kirby in the horror flick Soul of a Monster (1944) and Cornelia Coates in the horror-themed mystery The Ghost That Walks Alone (1944). She also appeared in such classic films as Johnny Belinda (1948), Harvey (1950), The Lemon Drop Kid (1951), Show Boat (1951), Scandal Sheet (1952), and Desk Set (1957), as well as in episodes of T.V.'s "I Love Lucy", "Rocky Jones, Space Ranger" and "Alfred Hitchcock Presents". This is the first example of her autograph we have offered in over half a decade.
