Uncommonly early 8x10-inch sepia-tone portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in violet fountain pen for inveterate collector Joseph Rossa in the early 1930s. This is just the second 1930s-era example we have ever encountered! In good condition. B-movie favorite Pauline Moore was a regular in western pictures. She had a small role as bridesmaid in James Whale's horror classic Frankenstein (1931) and as also memorable in a string of Charlie Chan flicks, including Charlie Chan at the Olympics (1937), Charlie Chan in Reno (1939) and the rather disquieting Charlie Chan at Treasure Island (1939).
