Scarce vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch pink album page, acquired in-person by a New York City-based autograph hound in the early 1940s. In good condition, with the inscription written in black before the star switched pens, for whatever reason. Enigmatic, gloomy French leading lady  Michele Morgan has been one of her country's most enduring stars for five decades, mesmerizing in European and American classics like Gribouille (1937), Port of Shadows (1938), Joan of Paris (1942), Passage to Marseille (1944), The Chase (1946), Pastoral Symphony (1946), The Fallen Idol (1948), The Grand Maneuver (1955), Napoleon (1955), and Shadow of the Guillotine (1956).
