Sorry, this item has already been sold.

One-of-a-kind 3.5 x 5-inch original black and white candid snapshot portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in-person for inveterate autograph hounds Frances and Violet Zane in the 1950s. In good condition, with gentle edge wear. A veritable scene-stealer in Voltaire (1932), The House of Rothschild (1934), Villa Villa! (1934), Cleopatra (1934), Cardinal Richelieu (1935), Becky Sharp (1935), Top Hat (1935), Magnificent Obsession (1935), Anthony Adverse (1936), Madame X (1937), Devil's Island (1939), Dark Victory (1939), Foreign Correspondent (1940), Random Harvest (1942), The Corn Is Green (1945), and Limelight (1952), veteran stage and screen character actor Leonard Mudie is probably best remembered for his portrayal of Professor Pearson in the Universal Horror classic The Mummy (1932). His autograph is one of the most elusive of the film's cast members'. He made several other contributions to the horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and mystery genres, with roles in A Message from Mars (1921), The Mystery of Mr. X (1934), Mysterious Mr. Moto (1938), You'll Find Out (1940), The Son of Dr. Jekyll (1951), When Worlds Collide (1951), and The Magnetic Monster (1953).
