Extremely rare vintage 5x7-inch matte-finish black and white portrait, boldly signed in white fountain pen in the 1930s. In very fine condition. Best remembered as emotionally complex prostitute Belle Watling in Gone With the Wind (1939), heartbreaking Ona Munson had a sporadic Hollywood career in the 1930s and 1940s, with notable roles in Scandal Street (1939), Shanghai Gesture (1941), Dakota (1945), and The Red House (1947). Plagued by ill health at a relatively early age, she committed suicide by overdose at the age of 51, and her autograph is highly elusive in any format.
