Scarce vintage inscribed black fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch mustard yellow autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1940s and decorated with a small book image of the star. In good condition. Tough-as-nails B-movie lead Tom Neal, at his best in films like Detour (1945), was also known for his off-screen antics, which included a conviction of manslaughter for killing his third wife. Among horror buffs, he is known for his starring roles as Frankie Mills in the Bela Lugosi classic Bowery at Midnight (1942) and Clifford Scott in The Brute Man (1946), opposite Rondo Hatton.
