Tough to find vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a lined 3x5-inch tan card, acquired in-person by a busy Los Angeles-based autograph hound in January of 1990. In very good condition. Ah, Dorothy Neumann-- that scrawny, hatchetfaced, birdlike character actress who so excelled at playing nosy neighbors, ditzy society types, and hideous, cauldron-stirring hags! She was unforgettable in films like The Miracle of the Bells (1948), Sorry, Wrong Number (1948), The Snake Pit (1948), My Blue Heaven (1950), Ghost Chasers (1951), Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell (1951), The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951), The Long, Long Trailer (1954), Blackboard Jungle (1955), Anything Goes (1956), The Ten Commandments (1956), The Undead (1957), The Brothers Karamazov (1958), Gigi (1958), and The Miracle (1960), as well as on classic episodes of "The Twilight Zone" (1960) and "The Addams Family" (1964).
