Cat. #0019620411: BARBARA NICHOLS

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Highly scarce vintage 8x10-inch black and white glossy portrait for her final film, Won Tom Tom: The Dog Who Saved Hollywood (1973), the last film she made before her tragic death, boldly signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint pen at the time of the film. In good condition, with a few minor handling dings. Brassy Barbara Nichols, who was so electrifying in films like Miracle in the Rain (1956), The Wild Party (1956), Sweet Smell of Success (1957), The Pajama Game (1957), Pal Joey (1957), The Naked and the Dead (1958), Woman Obsessed (1959), Where the Boys Are (1960), and The George Raft Story (1961), as well as on classic episodes of T.V.'s "The Twilight Zone" (1961), "The Beverly Hillbillies" (1963), "The Wild Wild West" (1966), "Batman" (1966), and "Green Acres" (1966), died tragically of a damaged spleen at the age of 47. Her autograph is quite elusive in any format.
