Absolutely impossible to find vintage 5x7-inch sepia-tone portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in green fountain pen in the early- to-mid 1930s. In very fine condition. Handsome silent movie leading man Carroll Nye, who went on to supporting roles in talkies in the 1930s, is best remembered for his portrayal of lumberyard foreman Frank Kennedy, Scarlett O'Hara's ill-fated second husband, in Gone with the Wind (1939). This is just the third example of his autograph we have encountered in over 35 years.
