Rare and terrific 8x10-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen around the late 1940s. In very fine condition, with a few extremely light surface dings, not visible when the photo is viewed head-on, and a small toning spot in the lower right-hand border. Bug-eyed, rubber-faced Irish character actress Una O'Connor's countless credits include two roles in James Whale creepy classics: The innkeeper Jenny Hall in The Invisible Man (1933) and the screeching Minnie in Bride of Frankenstein (1935). One of the silver screen's bona fide scream queens!
