Rare vintage inscribed blue fountain pen signature on a 2x5-inch pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in 1947. In good condition and just the third example we have acquired in over 35 years. Pretty, unassuming Cathy O'Donnell is best remembered for her portrayal of Wilma Cameron, the devoted paramour of armless Homer Parrish, in The Best Years of Our Lives (1946). Also noteworthy in films like Bury Me Dead (1947), They Live by Night (1948) and Ben-Hur (1959), she died tragically of a cerebral hemorrhage brought on by cancer, aged only 46 years.
