Extremely rare and quite beautiful vintage 7.75 x 10-inch black and white youthful portrait, warmly signed and inscribed in black fountain pen in 1965. Uneven trimming to the lower and right-hand borders, for framing purposes; otherwise, in good condition for its age. Lovely, enigmatic Susan Oliver dazzled in films like BUtterfield 8 (1960), The Caretakers (1963), Your Cheatin' Heart (1964), The Disorderly Orderly (1964), and Guns of Diablo (1965), as well as on classic episodes of T.V.'s "Wagon Train" (1957-1963), "The Twilight Zone" (1960) and "Peyton Place" (1966). She was also the star of the pilot episode of "Star Trek" (1964), entitled "The Cage." Oliver died tragically of cancer at the age of 58 and her autograph is highly elusive in any format.
