Highly rare vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait, boldly signed and inscribed in blue fountain pen in the 1930s. In fine condition, with show-through from a red rubberstamp on the verso, affecting the upper left-hand corner tip, and a few minor handling dings. Russian acting coach and character actress Maria Ouspenskaya is best remembered for her portrayal of Maleva the gypsy in the 1941 horror classic The Wolf Man, a role she reprised in Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man in 1943.
