Highly rare and absolutely authentic black felt-tip pen signature on a clean 3x5-inch off-white card, given during a private signing in the 1990s-- one of the very few the isolative Page permitted in the years just prior to her death. In good condition and excellent for matting with a favorite photograph. Iconic, raven-haired pin-up model Bettie Page, who battled mental illness throughout her lifetime, was a consummate recluse in her later years, but did occasionally provide autographs to personal friends; authors and interviewers; members of her fan club; and autograph dealerships offering her fair prices. While forgeries abound, this one comes from a rock solid provenance and is the real deal.
