TOUGH to acquire vintage 8x10-inch black and white portrait, boldly autographed and inscribed in blue felt-tip marker-- using one of the few variations of the spelling of her name she tended to sign, "La Wanda Paige"-- dating to the 1970s. In good condition, with a sticker from the third-party authentication service J.S.A. affixed to the lower right-hand corner, and a handling ding to the the center area, basically invisible when the photo is viewed head-on. Foul-mouthed comedian LaWanda Page is best remembered for her role as feisty Aunt Esther, opposite Redd Foxx, on television's "Sanford and Son" (1972-1977).
