Uncommon 8x10-inch color glossy chest-up portrait, boldly signed in marker in-person at a recent film convention appearance.  In mint condition.  The raven-haired, well-scrubbed beauty made a memorable debut in the British crime drama 20,000 Eyes in 1961.  She went on to become something of a cult icon of the 1960s, starring as the much-married Betty Harrington on T.V.'s "Peyton Place" (1964-1969) and Anne Welles in the equally notorious Valley of the Dolls (1967).  Parkins has made a number of contributions to the horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres, including The Mephisto Waltz (1971), A Taste of Evil (1971) and Asylum (1972).
