Scarce vintage fountain pen signature on a 3x5-inch lined off-white card, acquired in-person in January, 1937, almost eight months to day of his fatal heart attack at age 45.  In good condition.  The father of Anthony Perkins and, according to Love 'em and Leave 'em (1932) co-star Louise Brooks, one of his era's most unappreciated actors, Osgood Perkins excelled at played mentally unbalanced persons and frenzied eccentrics in films like Puritan Passions (1922), The Cradle Buster (1922), High Hat (1927), Scarface (1932), Madame Du Barry (1934), The President Vanishes (1934), and A Star Is Born (1937).
