Cat. #00199421: WILLIAM PHIPPS

Bold black felt-tip marker signature on a 3x5-inch white collector's card, made up with color computer-printed images, dating to the 1990s. In good condition. After lending his distinctive voice to Prince Charming in Disney's animated classic Cinderella (1950), character actor William Phipps was one of the first performers to become associated with the budding sci-fi genre of the 1950s:  He hid his boyish face beneath a beard as the star of the end-of-the-world melodrama Five (1951); popped up in The Twonky (1953); encountered Martians in both Invaders from Mars (1953) and The War of the Worlds (1953); grappled with Moon maidens in Cat-Women of the Moon (1953); and took on the Abominable Snowman in The Snow Creature (1954).
