Cat. #002033: DICK POWELL

Vintage inscribed fountain pen signature on a 4x6-inch pale grey autograph album page, acquired in-person in 1940 and decorated with a small magazine image. In good condition. Dick Powell earned fame as a juvenile lead in the Warner backstage musicals, opposite such rising stars as Ruby Keeler and Joan Blondell, and went on to play private eye roles, before switching gears and becoming a television and film director. He died young, of liver cancer, and his autograph is somewhat elusive.
