Rare fountain pen signature on a one-page payment agreement with Samuel Goldwyn Studios, dated 1931-- the year he was working on The Mummy (1932) In good condition, with a rust stain left by a paperclip in the upper left-hand corner. Note that the image of the artist shown alongside the scan of the document here is not actually included with the signed piece. Brilliant Hungarian-born illustrator, painter and author Willy Pogany made several important forays into art design for motion pictures, most notably the horror classic The Mummy (1932), for which he created the beautiful Egyptian scenery, and Boris Karloff's iconic costumes and sarcophagus.
