Beautiful 8x10-inch signed and inscribed sepia-tone portrait of the legendary operatic soprano-- arguably one of the greatest of the twentieth century-- dating to the time of a much-hyped tour she made of the West Coast with pianist Stuart Ross, which ended in March of 1927, just one month after she boldly autographed this piece in bold, black fountain pen. A minor tear to the bottom area, which has been repaired with a piece of tape to the verso; otherwise, in good condition for its age.
