Cat. #002043111: TYRONE POWER

Sorry, this item has already been sold.

Scarce mattable vintage 2 x 5.25-inch clip from a tan autograph album page, acquired in-person in 1949. In good condition, with an ink notation by the original collector along the upper edge. Handsome leading man Tyrone Power was memorable in classic films like In Old Chicago (1937), Alexander's Ragtime Band (1938), Suez (1938), Jesse James (1939), Rose of Washington Square (1939), The Rains Came (1939), Johnny Apollo (1940), The Mark of Zorro (1940), Blood and Sand (1941), The Black Swan (1942), The Razor's Edge (1946), Nightmare Alley (1948), That Wonderful Urge (1948), and Witness for the Prosecution (1957). He died of a heart attack at the age of 44 and his autograph is rather elusive in authentic format, while secretarial examples abound.
